Recently I've been trying to clean up and organize all my patterns and future project wants. It's hard especially since Ravelry makes it so easy to just queue patterns. I had almost 500 patterns queued! WTF! Who am I? Any way, I've decided that around 200 would be sufficient. I went through them all and the ones in my library and deleted those that were less appealing or seemed like I would probably never get to them. Its an ongoing process though and I have to stay vigilant or else my "hoarder" side emerges and tries to sneak some in the queue.
With that said I have just purchased more yarn. I know, I know I was not supposed to but I received a $250 gift card and after buying shoes, which I did need and a coat for Elayna, I reasoned that I deserved it. I purchased some Rowan Kid Silk Haze for the Bellatrix sweater. I choose blue hues. I'm very excited but nervous because I tend to be impatient with lace weight yarn.
I'm still organizing my projects and have yet to decide what to knit next. The only project on my needles is a throw I had started years ago. I have thought that its time to knit for my self so I may knit Mmm-soft-sweater in blue. Currently processing fleece has been the top priority and I am almost done carding my Romney fleece for the rug I plan to make for the cold floor of the craft room. Now only if I could get those shoe gnomes to spin some fleece while I sleep!!
